She began her career in academic research after earning her degree in Honours Psychology from The University of British Columbia, where she developed the analytical and communication skills that now support her work in talent acquisition.
She started recruiting at a leading Canadian staffing agency, where she placed over 80 professionals and generated more than $1.4M in gross margin. Jamile has supported hiring for roles in tech, marketing, operations, and more, across industries like IT, Telecom, Mining, Finance, and Government. She has experience managing the full recruitment cycle and building strong relationships with both clients and candidates. Her goal is always to find the right match for each candidate and client she works with.
Born and raised in Brazil, Jamile has also lived in Lima-Peru and Vancouver-Canada before returning to Brazil, where she is currently based in the state of Rio de Janeiro. She speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking, traveling, and playing volleyball. She’s deeply curious about people and cultures — and loves any conversation that starts with “What are you reading?”
