Your referral is qualified and approved for enrollment in The Teamit Community.
Your referral gets hired; you both get rewarded.
When your referrals get placed in a contract or permanent role and meet their three-month guarantee period, you’ll receive a $100 e-gift card of your choice and your referral will receive a $50 e-gift card of their choice. That’s not all! You’ll both be entered into our Big Money Giveaway for a chance to win 1 of 5 cash prizes: $2,500, $1,000, $500 (x3).
You’ll also be invited to an exclusive reception in Calgary, Alberta to network with members, watch the live draw and enjoy food and drinks. For Teamit Community members not based in Calgary, we’ll set you up with a virtual experience to enjoy the festivities from the comfort of your home. The draw and events will take place at the end of 2023.
You must be a Teamit Community member to refer your qualified friends or colleagues and get rewarded.
There are three ways to invite your qualified friends and colleagues.
a) Send us your referral’s email and name
b) Import your contacts from Gmail
c) Share your unique referral link on your social platforms
Your referral(s) will receive the link to the Teamit Community Application Form. When your referral submits the form, one of our Tech Talent Advisors will reach out to book a time to connect and screen them.
You can invite as many qualified candidates as you want. Please keep in mind that The Teamit Community is an invite-only, exclusive career community for qualified and experienced IT professionals who have at least three years of experience in a technical/IT role and are a resident of Canada or living in Canada with a valid open work permit.
If you don’t see a job opportunity that’s a fit for your qualified referral, they can still apply to join The Teamit Community by filling out the application form for consideration for future positions. One of our Tech Talent Advisors will reach out to your referral to book a time to connect and qualify them. When they’re approved, they’ll get access to all the great benefits that come with being part of our exclusive, invite-only career community for Canada’s top tech talent.
Only Teamit Community members who have been qualified and approved by one of our Tech Talent Advisors can apply for jobs and refer qualified candidates.
Your referrals will be tracked through our internal CRM system. You’ll also be able to see the stage of your referral(s) throughout the entire process in your Brand Ambassador Dashboard through the Staffing Referrals platform.
You will be notified in your dashboard and receive an email from your Tech Talent Advisor letting you know that your referral has been placed. Once your referral has met their three-month guarantee period, you’ll receive an email to redeem your $100 e-gift card of choice and your referral will also receive an email to redeem their $50 e-gift card.
It’s unlimited; you are rewarded when your qualified referrals get placed in a contract or permanent position and meet their three-month guarantee period.
You will have to claim your e-gift card within 90 days of receiving it. Most e-gift card brands have no expiration date unless stated in the specific terms for a given brand. However, since every brand is different, recipients should refer to their e-gift card’s specific terms and conditions for more details.
There’s no limit! You get an entry into the draw for every approved Teamit Community member that you’ve referred who gets placed in a contract or permanent position and meets their three-month guarantee period. Your referral will also be entered into the draw.
A person can only be awarded one cash prize regardless of how many times their name is drawn. There is only one winner per cash prize per calendar year.
If one of our Tech Talent Advisors hasn’t connected with the candidate in the last nine months, you will be rewarded for that referral.
There isn’t a time limit for when your referral must be placed. However, you will only be rewarded one time per referral regardless of the number of placements.
